PM: Russian sanctions to affect hundreds of Ukrainian businessmen

KALININGRAD, Oct 23 (PRIME) – The countersanctions against Ukraine will be introduced against hundreds of people, who infringed Russian interests, and their companies, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev told reporters on Tuesday.

“As for the individuals and companies, the lists are being prepared. Speaking about individuals, these will most probably be hundreds of people who harmed interests of our country with their actions,” he said.

“There are businessmen there and other people. Naturally, the Ukrainian companies were included in the list as well, I mean, the legal entities registered under Ukrainian legislation, which are controlled by such people in this or that way, people against whom the sanctions will be introduced.”

On Monday, President Vladimir Putin signed a decree to introduce special economic measures against Ukraine.
